Perhaps the biggest news for this month is the status of HR 1588 the Virginia General Assembly bill to mandate Applied Behavioral Analysis coverage for every health insurance plan sold in Virginia. I don't have to tell you how big this is, but we need your help. Certain legislators think it is better to kick this can down the road and only attention by us the citizenry will guarantee they do the right thing.
These are the undecided delegates on the Commerce and Labor sub committee. They are meeting tomorrow 2/3/2009 to vote on sending HR 1588 to the full assembly. Please contact these legislators and make your opinion known.
More exciting news involves our partnership with Village Bank. You can now see samples of our students artwork hanging in the lobby of the Midlothian branch lobby located at 13531 Midlothian Turnpike in the Midlothian Station Shopping Center. Student displays will be rotating depending on the season. We hope you stop by and check them out and give the wonderful people at Village Bank a big thank you for letting us share our art and information with the community.
